Jim Young, Conservative Republican From Oklahoma, and Christian (Whatever That Has to Do With Anything), Wants You to Know Something.

I voted for Trump – twice. Liz Cheney's book and DOJ's Jan. 6 indictment changed my mind (msn.com)

Young takes a very dim view of Biden, whom he strategically mischaracterizes, or to whom he misattributes problems*, so it's unclear what Young expects to do with his vote.  But he's made very clear what he's not going to do with it.  Although with two very dominant candidates, a vote not for one is a vote for the other.

I have my own complaints about Biden, but I will have no trouble holding my nose, and voting for him.  I won't really be voting for Biden.  I'll be voting against the person Jim Young now finally understands is an antidemocratic and antiAmerican criminal.  (How he managed to take this long to figure this out is a mystery he explains only by saying he read three things that all seemed entirely credible and were precisely in line with each other.  But the fact is that most voters could clearly see this in 2016 and 2020.  And those were the two years Young couldn't see the problem.  Well, he sees it now.  Maybe he was just mindlessly voting against any Democrat.  I didn't much favor Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden.  But against the alternative?  Not even close.)

*One issue Young misattributes to Biden is the imagined problem of immigration, or the "southern border."  Young does not mention that Biden agreed to strong shoring up of the southern border, only to have Republicans, on Trump's orders, then refuse to institute that shoring up, so that the imagined problem would still be there at election time, and it could be blamed on Biden.

Anyone who somehow still doesn't recognize how entirely self-focused Trump is, to the detriment of anyone or anything except himself (although his mindless crusades are even damaging him now) has his or her head even further in the sand, or up his or her ass, than Young did.  Until he finally, somehow, "got religion."

I don't know if it's reassuring to see that some people finally get it, or it's further demoralizing to see how many people take forever, or never get it.  It really, really ain't subtle.  Most of us could always see it, and increasing numbers of people eventually do.  If it's not clear to you, even yet, I just don't know what to tell you.  I don't even understand what your problem is.  I just know you very clearly have one.

    1. Neither is Jim Young, neither is Liz Cheney, neither is Adam Kinzinger, neither is anyone from the Lincoln Project, and neither is a growing number of people, including many other Republicans.

Read the article, you dimwit. Are you able to read? And try to grow up, and join these conversations in a non-anonymous way. And if you can't bring yourself to do that, go in the bathroom, close the door, and remember that you are why "god" created masturbation.

  4. What’s happening on this blog we have an unhinged X medical doctor that is out of control filled with hate towards the Republican party, but it doesn’t stop at the Republican party he attacks people? He doesn’t even know what his rhetoric I think the entire community knows who he is kind of scary that we have an unhinged hateful person living among a peaceful law abiding small community

    1. You "think the entire community knows who" I am? You don't have to "think" you or anyone else knows who I am. I am very explicit and unambiguous about who I am. You have lots of information about me, because I have given it to you. I'm not ashamed of myself and my opinions. If you're ever not ashamed of yourself and your opinions, you'll tell us all who you are, too. And until then, you can continue to spit into the wind, or enjoy the pleasures of your bathroom.

By the way, your constantly negative descriptions of this blog do not fit with your uncontained obsession with and fixation on it: to read the posts, and leave comment after comment after comment. About the topic of the post, or unrelated to the topic of the post, or me. I will assume I'm not your psychiatrist. You might want to discuss this with whoever is. You can ask him or her about "hostile dependency."

I don't know whether you didn't understand the question (what is your name?), or you chose not to answer it. I'm assuming, although maybe I shouldn't, that you know the answer.

I have told you before, and I will tell you again, that we are not going to have any substantive discussion, and I am not going to address any of your drivel, until you identify yourself. You have made passively clear that that doesn't work for you, and it only leaves the question of why you're so fixated on this blog (although many of your comments suggest you're really fixated on me). Who knew?

  8. The comment section on any blog is open to all people viewing a blog you cannot stop anyone from commenting on a blog you’re only right to the blog is that you created the blog and the copyright is yours, but the comments that people write on the blog are not your property and you have no copyright ownership of comments made on an open public blog all you care about is slamming the Republican party. Well I’m going to defend the Republican party. The Democratic party is a losing organization and will not be the presidency in 2024 Mr. Donald Trump will be reelected in 2024 not only you defame President and Trump but you defame everyone else that’s on the Republican party you’re a coward behind this blog and you are disconnected from your family

If you continue this hate commentary you can get you in a lot of trouble hate brings trouble always my continuously creating hate speech on this blog, it will take you somewhere you don’t wanna go people like yourself that right hate speeches on blogs usually are the suspects that are involved in crimes because of the anger they have built up in them, such as yourself so with that said stop the hate speeches on this blog the little money you have saved up you’re gonna end up spending it with criminal lawyers getting you out of a lot of trouble. Law enforcement has a whole division on hate speeches and hate crimes

Wondering if you understood the question -- what is your name? -- is not a hate statement. Noting that you chose not to answer is not a hate statement. Giving you credit, but wondering if I was wrong in assuming you know what your name is is not a hate statement.

You have now very correctly acknowledged that I created this blog. From blogspot's perspective, the blog is mine. I do not have to permit comments, or I can set it up so that no comment can be published without my review and approval. At the end of every comment, there is an opportunity for me to delete it. If this blog is public, it is because I wish it to be. You have no rights here. You can be the beneficiary of my courtesy and generosity if I wish to allow you to be.

As for Trump, and the Democratic Party being a "losing organization," please note that W won the first time he ran, because his brother was governor of Florida, a cousin ran the vote counting, they chose to stop the count when Gore was threatening to win, and a sympathetic (to the Republican Party) SCOTUS allowed this. W won with a minority of the popular vote. And he won with a majority of the popular when he ran again, because people almost never change presidents during a war (which W invented). Trump won (like W, with the distortion created by the Electoral College) with a minority of the popular vote. When Trump ran again, he lost with a minority of the popular vote, and a minority of the Electoral College vote. And all of this is with vote suppression and very tortured gerrymandering. So you might want to reconsider which is the "losing organization." Further, Republicans have been losing elections they should have been expected to win, and because they don't care what Americans think or want, they are losing more. You will of course remember the very right wing majority cobbled together by Mitch McConnell, and how it deprived Americans of the choice of abortion, and how this brought out substantial protest from the majority of Americans. And I'm not even reviewing Nixon, and Reagan's "voodoo economics," which everyone now recognizes was nonsense, and his campaign pledge to be fully supportive to air traffic controllers, whom he then fired when their work conditions were so bad that they went on strike.

In any event, despite all of the areas about which you are simply wrong, I still challenge you to grow up, and be a proper part of a conversation in this blog, since you're obsessed with it anyway. Tell us your name, and where in the Village you live. And if you really can't bring yourself to do that, then please shut the fuck up, and go back in the bathroom.
